Help address gendered domestic violence and support vulnerable youth in need

White Ribbon Australia is a part of a global social movement working to eliminate gendered violence. They strive for an Australian society where all women and children are safe.

Traction engages local communities and serves those most in need by providing a safe, inclusive, action-based environment where vulnerable youth build self-esteem, find a sense of belonging, discover their potential and create their own future.

My Updates

120kms Mt Mee loop and beers

What a beautiful ascent Mt Mee is? It is a gradual 6 degrees, which allows you to look up and enjoy the view.It would be remiss of me not to mention though that it does seem to go on and on and on :-) The descent is fun ofcourse, but take care for a few bumps and it can be a bit hairy in the wind.

We topped off a great ride with beers at the Newstead Brewing in Milton. Beed and pizza never tasted so good!!!

100km ride and visit to TRACTION

Our first 100km ride of our training programme featured a trip to see the TRACTION facilities and hear Sandy their CEO talk about the great things they do to help get kids find their way back on track. It is so fabulous the way they give the kids the confidence and skills to re-engage. By role modelling positive behaviours, teaching them how to respectfully ask for help and practical skiils of making a bike and riding one, TRACTION is changing lives. Makes all the taining and fundraising work even more rewarding.

Thank You To My Donors

Katrina Nelson

I'm kick starting my fundraising efforts to help address gendered domestic violence and help vulnerable kids in need as part. I am so lucky to live a fortunate life, as do so many of my friends and family. I'm doing the CRW300 in 2021 as a small way to help others less fortunate. Please help me to do the same!
