This ride isn’t just about fundraising - it’s about helping children feel safe, valued, and hopeful by strengthening the communities we walk alongside.

This is my very first Chain Reaction Challenge! Prior to December of last year, I didn't have any experience on a road bike at all. And while the 1000 kms is daunting, what keeps me motivated is the work I've had to privilege to be part of on the ground at HopeStreet in Woolloomooloo. During my time working as frontline staff at HopeStreet from 2019 to 2022, I witnessed how our Hubs create safe spaces for children and young people experiencing homelessness, domestic and family violence, and deep disadvantage, and the profound impact of our strengths-based approaches to build strong and connected communities that support young people.
This ride is my way of advocating for our HopeStreet teams and communities to strengthen their efforts in creating connection, care, and programs that build resilience and improve wellbeing. Every kilometre I ride, and every dollar received helps to support our HopeStreet Hubs to build strengths and increase access for children within our communities! Thank you for supporting my ride!
