I’m taking on this ride because of the challenge it represents — and because I know that, while I’m pushing my limits, I’m also making a real difference through the funds I raise for disadvantaged young people accessing BaptistCare’s HopeStreet programs.
Having the right support at the right time can completely change a young person’s trajectory. Through my work, I see how practical support, stability and hope can provide a vital safety net when it’s needed most.
By taking on this ride, I’m helping ensure that children and young people who are doing it tough can access the services that support their wellbeing, build resilience and open up future opportunities — support that might otherwise be out of reach.
