Help me support kids in need
I am a paediatrician who has worked at Monash for about 30 years. I have seen first hand the passion, care and outstanding outcomes we have been able to provide for many children and families. There is never enough funding to do all that we want to do so I love challenging myself to raise further money for causes close to my heart. Starlight Foundation are our partners and both organisations work hard to make the experience for hospitalised children and their families a little easier.Despite being a runner for years, I moved to cycling a few years ago. With the help of Chain reaction coaches and friends, I have managed to complete 2 of these really tough rides and hope to do more.

Retirement - a chance to train harder
I retired from my role at Monash Children's Hospital on 28th November 2025 and have moved to Bright. Whilst my passion for helping children and families has never diminished , it is lovely to find different avenues that give me more time for cycling too - a real win-win!I have found a welcoming group of riders to explore with and have tried to mirror what we would be doing in BJ's awesome training rides. It's a bit hard to motivate myself when I haven't got him telling me to push harder and faster, but I channel his voice in my ear. The weather is fabulous and made it possible to complete the Festive 500km over Christmas for the first time ever. I clocked over 9278km for the year and will aim for 10000km in 2026.
It is such an honour to ride with teh Chain reaction peloton for my third year in a row - now time to ramp up the fundraising efforts.
