Help me support kids in need
This is my second year riding with Chain Reaction. It is a privilege to again be supporting sick kids to receive lifesaving care and the support they need to thrive through our two major charities.
AEIOU Foundation for Children with Autism provide early intervention with support to develop essential life skills, independence and confidence. They are building and fitting out a specialised new centre that will provide access to life-changing services for families and create brighter futures for children.
Through personal experience, I know how scary it can be to go to hospital as a child, in an unfamiliar environment, where decisions are made around you and not with you. The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation is supporting the expansion of a Child Life Therapist role at one of Queensland’s busiest pediatric departments to ensure that children feel safe and heard during their stay in hospital.
