A few weeks ago, I dived right into the chain reaction training program. Three times a week the fabulous group of women and I tackle whatever the coaches throw at us in preparation for our 300km ride in November. Today, we climbed Mt Cootha a few times followed by a descending session. I may have over estimated what I was capable of… I was fatigued and not thinking and when I stacked it. I’ve got a shiner on my face and a beautiful scrape on my leg. Better luck next time I suppose! Back on the bike next week!
