It’s now or never
Today was our last training ride.
On Friday we leave our warm dry homes and our families to ride 360km in forecast wet conditions. There’s no backing out now!!!
It will be challenging, emotional and rewarding- knowing we have raised much needed funds for families involved with #aeioufoundation and Youth Advocacy centre. So thankful for all of your help, support and encouragement on this journey.
May the rain gods be kind (and only rain after we finish for the day)and the smiles be plentiful. We look forward to seeing you at the finish line!! #helpingkidsinneed.
Mt Mee slog
Last Saturday a daunted group gathered for the ride to and climb up My Mee!!
120km later there was a mixture of exhaustion, sore legs and relief - however we had all made it!
Such an awesome effort by all of these great women riding to support kids in need.
A long road -but it will be worth it
When I first considered signing up for Chain Reaction this year I didn’t think I could make it happen. However reading the cause I will be riding for convinced me I will somehow make it work. In October I will be riding over 350 kilometres from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast to raise funds for kids in need. Funds raised form this event will support the AEIOU Foundation for Children with Autism. Please support my efforts on the bike with a donation. https://www.chain-reaction.org.au/fundraisers/alisonchambers Thank you for helping me change the lives of kids in need!
