Help me support kids in need
For the fourth year I am riding 1,000 kilometres in 7 days to raise funds for kids in need.
Whilst the training can be tough, the experience, friendships and most importantly the contribution to supporting kids in need, more than compensates.
When not on the bike I head up the APAC region for Equiem, a global property technology business based in Melbourne. Equiem has been a keen supporter of Chain Reaction for a number of years.
I'm lucky to have a wife, Val, and son, Jake who are long-suffering - putting up with me shuffling out of the house early in the mornings and collapsing on the sofa at the weekends!
I first became involved with Chain Reaction in 2014 when the NSW contingent headed off on an epic trip around Tasmania. During that first challenge I connected with what now seem like lifelong friends, many of whom I still ride with regularly today.
More importantly, it appealed to me that through their smart & professional approach Chain Reaction was able to raise the sort of funds that really make a tangible difference to kids lives. Over many years Chain Reaction supported the Victor Chang Institute and I was able to see first hand the difference that the funds raised made to this organisation and the parents and children they support.
This is very much a once a year thing for me and its important that during this time I'm able to maximise the funds raised for the Chain Reaction Foundation and their charities.
