1000km. 7 Days. One Mission: To Support Kids In Need
In just seven days, I'm about to push my body further than it's ever gone - 1000 kilometres, one pedal at a time. It's going to hurt. My legs will scream, my mind will beg me to stop, and there will be moments out there, alone with the road, when quitting will feel like the only option.
But I won't stop. Because right now, there are kids fighting battles far bigger than mine - battles they didn't choose, against illnesses and injuries no child should have to face. Some are missing school. Some haven't seen their friends in weeks. Some are just trying to get through today so they can face tomorrow.
So I'm turning my exhaustion into their joy. Every kilometre I cover is a kilometre closer to giving a sick child in hospital a reason to laugh today, and giving Monash Children's Hospital and Starlight Children's Foundation the support they need to keep caring for kids when they need it most.
This isn't about me proving something. It's about showing up for kids who are doing the hardest thing imaginable and making sure they don't have to do it without a little brightness along the way.
