Last BIG session

A training session that will make you or break you... 2 weeks out from departure. A mental and physical test is an understatement... But we got there!

Hills Training

Tasmania is not known for being flat... So hills group training will be a critical skill for the group to perfect by the time we fly out in 47 days!

Largest ride (so far...)

Sunday 23rd was a decent ride, just under 125km. At about the 100km mark the cramps set in and the last leg home was an absolute nightmare. I certainly had to remember why I was doing this... "Some kids may never ride a bike" on the inside of the training jersey.

I fell down, but I got up again

Training has well and truly started! Before Christmas I had a little spill doing some hill training with the squad. 60km/h into a ditch will rattle the rib cage, but I've bounced back and on the saddle again!
