Help me support kids in need
I have taken up this extraordinary challenge with Chain Reaction to make a difference and help raise funds for two incredible children's charities – So they Can and BaptistCare Hopestreet!
I will not
only be covering an impressive 1,000km in 7 days
across Victoria, but have taken up cycling specifically to be
able to take part in the 2024 Sydney Chain Reaction Challenge and
make a difference!
We have the opportunity to come together to raise much needed funds to break the poverty cycle in East Africa through better education and wellbeing for children, particularly focused on young females, and the communities in which they live in conjunction with Major Charity Partner www.sotheycan.org.au and to help children here in Australia through Baptist Care's Hope Street to escape the negative and unsafe environment created due to domestic violence.
You too can
make a difference by supporting me by making a generous donation and help raise
funds for these two incredible charities. Your donation will also help us reach
and/or exceed our target of raising over $1.0m for these very
deserving Charity Partners!
So please give generously to maximise the positive impact we can have to the lives of these kids and help me reach my target of $10,000! I have personally committed to matching every dollar contributed by you up to my target of $10,000.
Thank You!
My Updates
DAY 2 Completed
Week 8 Update!
Week 8 of my cycling career and well into my Sydney Chain Reaction Challenge 2024 training, having covered 963km since October, with an 80km training ride coming up on Saturday morning.
As you can
see the challenge is not about looking good (noting the helmet hair after a
long Northern Beaches Coach’s Loop), it is about the comradery with the fellow
riders in completing this extraordinary challenge for the kids!
Thanks to
everyone’s generosity, I have reached my target of $10,000 before I have
even dollar matched by $10,000 target promise, which together will be an
impressive $21,341! But let’s not stop there. I still have
many more km’s of training to come over the next two and a half months, I
believe you still have more donations to give and as such I have raised my
target to $30,000!
For those
that have already donated, A BIG THANK YOU! And for those who are still
clicking on the link or scanning the QR code, please give generously to help me
reach my revised target. We can meet this target and complete the challenge
together!
Don’t
forget we have the opportunity to come together to raise much needed funds to
break the poverty cycle in East Africa through better education and wellbeing
for children, particularly focused on young females, and the communities in
which they live in conjunction with Major Charity Partner www.sotheycan.org.au
and to help children here in Australia through Baptist Care's Hope Street to
escape the negative and unsafe environment created due to domestic violence.
Thank You!
