Chain Reaction announces final charity partner recipients and funding allocation from 2017 events

The Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation is proud to announce the final charity recipients and relevant funding allocation for the 2016-17 financial year. All four Chain Reaction events have been a great success, with the Queensland event setting a new fundraising record at $1.15 million. Nearly 5,000 individual donations were contributed from the four events with an average donation amount of $255 in addition to over $1 million in corporate sponsorships across all events. In total, our events raised $2,597,548. Such a result would certainly not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our donors, riders and corporate partners.

As a result of these fundraising efforts, Chain Reaction has donated $1,927,000 to our children’s charity partners this year.

Across Australia, the Foundation has provided significant donations to a number of children’s charities, including seven major charity partners who each received significant funding for their programs: Starlight Children’s Foundation, Very Special Kids, AEIOU Foundation, Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland, Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, Freedom Wheels and Southern Cross Kids’ Camps. In addition to our seven major charity partners, Chain Reaction also provided significant funding to 6 other children’s charities.
