FY 2017/18 A Record Fundraising Year

04 Jul 2018

Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation is proud to announce the final charity recipients and their funding allocation as a result of events during the 2017-2018 financial year.

Our events have been a great success with several fundraising records broken. The Queensland ride and Women’s 300 surpassed their previous fundraising records; the Queensland ride set an all-time fundraising record with over $1.5 million; we set a new record for total funds raised with $3,409,000.

As a result of the outstanding fundraising effort, Chain Reaction has donated $2,591,500 to our children’s charity partners this year. That is an incredible flow through rate of 76% that will go far to improving the lives of children in need through our charity partners’ programs.

Such a result would certainly not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our donors, riders and sponsors. This great result has now taken Chain Reaction's total raised figure, since inception in 2007, to nearly $25 million.

The donation amounts and the charity recipients for each of the four rides are summarised below.

Chain Reaction sincerely thanks its riders, corporate partners, supporters, individual donors and volunteers who were involved and helped ensure Chain Reaction had such an outstanding year.  We look forward to our next event in October 2018, the Chain Reaction Women’s 300.
