2019 NSW Ride

I have worked for KPMG in the Deal Advisory Tax Team for 7 years, focussing on private equity, M&A and infrastructure transactions.

I am much newer to cycling, having first started peddling just over 18 months ago. Since then it has been go go go, and I have competed in seven gran fondos, completed three 200+ kilometre rides, crashed three times, broken my two front teeth (that was a very expensive ride), and finished 2018 having cycled a grand total of 15,000+ kilometres over four countries.

My reasons for joining the Chain Reaction NSW Challenge in 2019 is to use the sport to give back to my local community by embarking on multiple challenges: Firstly, being physically and mentally being capable of riding 1,000km over the Victorian and Snowy Alps, and secondly and more importantly, utilising my resources to raise a significant amount of money to provide essential funding for the Starlight Children's Foundation.

Our team from KPMG possesses a deep sense of corporate social responsibility, and we wish to use our passion for cycling to raise much needed funds for children in need.

We are participating in the NSW Challenge 2019, a ride which will takes us through some of the most iconic and challenging terrain of the Victorian Alps and Snowy Mountains between Melbourne and Sydney.  We will cover a total distance of +1,000 kilometres, with +14,500 metres of climbing along the way.

Chain Reaction is the Ultimate Corporate Bike Challenge that raises money for sick children by challenging senior executives who have a passion for cycling and an awareness of their corporate social responsibilities, to ride a 1,000 plus kilometre course in 7 days.

Help me support kids in need.
