Help me support kids in need!

Late last year I was asked if I was interested in supporting kids in need and taking past in the Chain Reaction charity ride, which is 1,000 kms in NZ. Despite only riding 300 kms in 3 months, challenge accepted! I has ridden almost 3,000kms over the last 3 months training for the event, which has been a big effort. A big part of the ride is fund raising, with all funds raised going to the charities and teams paying there own way on the event. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated and go to helping kids in need.

Finished! And it was tough.

I have managed to get around seemingly all of the South island of NZ, with the final day including climbing over the Crown Ranges and up the Remarkables. The final climb was 9.73kms up to 1,200 mtrs. I have also attached the link to the daily videos that were produced. Tough!

Just completed 150kms today (my 2nd most ever in a day) in over 40mm of rain and 35km/h headwinds! Toughest day of riding ever! Hanging in there but the 165km tomorrow will be another doozy!

After a solid 1,000kms in February, I have just had the final bike service and hope to do 300kms in my final week of training. Whilst enjoying the riding, it has been tough! Trying to keep up with a former Tour of Italy Stage Winner and Australian Road Racing Champion has been interesting! Attached is an image of the road at Icy Creek on the way to Mt Baw Baw which I tried to conquer in mid-January. This weekend will be Beaumaris to Arthurs Seat return, trying to go up Arthurs Seat twice!
