1000km to support kids in need - I’m going to leave the world of Zwift and hit the road, not literally this time
In 2020 I was involved in a hit and run cycling accident. I was fortunate enough to walk away (well…. limp away). Since then, I can count the number of times I’ve been back outdoors on a single hand. My cycling now consists mainly of virtual rides and races on Zwift.
Not so long ago I joined Pure Storage, an amazing company that supports its employees to challenge themselves and “Go Do Good” for the world.
With the help of Pure Storage and Chain Reaction, I’m going to take this opportunity to undertake the Ultimate Corporate Bike Challenge that raises money for children along the way.
I’ll be swapping both the indoor trainer and Queensland weather, riding through beautiful Tasmania on a 1,000+km course with 13,000+m of climbing, all in only 7 days.
Funds raised from this event will support major charity partners, So They Can and BaptistCare HOPESTREET
Anything and everything helps, please help us if you can.
