Help me support kids in need
I currently lead Pure Storage Australia and New Zealand which is an innovative Data storage company from Silicon Valley. I moved back to Sydney three years ago after spending 15 years in Hong Kong in a number of business ventures including Pure Storage across Asia and Japan.
I have three teenage daughters and have been happily married for nearly 20 years. I am a 'jack of all trades and master of none' when it comes to sport, but I learnt in my late twenties that I enjoyed learning new things and improving at something more than slowly getting worse at something which at the time was rugby and martial arts. Now I surf, paddle a racing ski, throw a few weights around, swim, golf and generally look forward to training and playing more of everything whenever I can. Cycling is something I have always dappled in but never taken seriously. I always used it to train while injured or for general fitness, but this is something completely new...cycling for an event and really trying to get better at it.
Pure Storage has been involved in Chain Reaction for a few years now through our association with Kordamentha. Our resident cycling addict Mark Jobbins attended our first event with a minor sponsorship and the rest is history. Now we have 10 riders from four cities at three events including several of us first time riders.
We are committed to the Chain Reaction fundraising objectives and the Pure Good foundation assists us to raise and match funds for this amazing fundraising foundation that raises a lot of money to help sick children.
