2019 Queensland Ride

Help me support kids in need

Help me support kids in need

Chain Reaction is the Ultimate Corporate Bike Challenge that raises money for sick children by challenging senior executives who have a passion for cycling and an awareness of their corporate social responsibilities, to ride a 1,000 plus kilometre course in 7 days.

This year, the foundation is supporting 2 charities via the Queensland ride:

  - The Ronald McDonald House Foundation (

Needing no introduction, RMHF works tirelessly in in keeping families together and close to the care their child needs.

  - AIOIU Foundation

At AEIOU Foundation for Children with Autism, their goal is pure and simple: to provide life-changing early intervention

Having 3 kids aged 1, 4 and 6, the Chain Reaction Foundation resonated with me deeply.  Figuratively I would walk to the end of the earth for my kids so putting words into action in the best way i can, i've decided to cycle from Canberra to Melbourne, 1000km over 7 days to help make a difference with a bunch of other cyclists who are equally passionate about cycling and supporting these kid’s charities.

Not only is the ride long in distance, but also includes some of Australia's toughest climbs throughout the Snowy Mountains and Victorian Alps.  I need not remind you that i am not built as a climber

The ride takes place 23-29th March 2019.  With too much Christmas cheer over the break, my waistline is telling me I have my work cut out over the next 2.5 months to train.  But, I am committed to this fantastic cause, and I ask everyone to dig deep and donate.

Thank you to everyone in advance.

Thank you to my donors
