Join me on the Chain Reaction Challenge, riding from Coffs Harbour to Sydney over 7 days to raise funds for BaptistCare HopeStreet.
I am an Executive Assistant with BaptistCare NSW & ACT and also a wife and mother of two. With a passion for the outdoors, cycling and running, this Challenge is a great way to make a difference, but I need your help.
HopeStreet provides support to women and children living in fear and violence, or who are rebuilding their lives after escaping domestic and family violence. HopeStreet provides services such as supported housing, counselling and children’s programs.
I believe that every woman and child deserves to live in a family that is free from violence and fear and to have safe and loving relationships. Wouldn’t you agree? Sadly across Australia, some women and children are living in incredibly violent situations – they’re experiencing physical, emotional, verbal, financial, social and religious violence.
I’m riding because BaptistCare HopeStreet is committed to providing support and assistance to women and children, including housing and specialised program for children, to help them escape the violence, have choice and rebuild their lives.
Please support me through the Challenge by donating to this worthwhile cause, that changes lives.
If you or someone you know is experiencing violence, there is help available now: call 1800 RESPECT on 1800 737 732 for confidential advice or support, 24/7. In an emergency, call the police on 000.
