Help me support kids in need
I'm riding the Chain Reaction Qld corporate cycling challenge - 1,000km on my bike - 150km a day - over 7 days.
Why would anyone want to do this? This year the ride is raising funds for two charity partners, AEIOU and Traction. Both support kids who need help in life:
1. AEIOU is a game-changing organisation that supports kids with autism;
2. Traction is an organisation that helps the most vulnerable kids in our community, who are facing challenges well beyond their ability to cope, to build self-esteem, find a sense of belonging, discover their potential and create their own future.
The things that these kids are struggling with are the things that we all too often take for granted in life. I’ve seen first-hand the facilities provided by these charities, with the funds that Chain Reaction has raised in years gone by. My (albeit minor) contribution to the cause is to train hard, ride 1,000km in a week and raise much needed funds so that these charities can do what they do.
Thank you - your support is greatly appreciated and will make a difference!
