1 Week to go
So with one week to go I am getting in final preparations. Last week I cycled my biggest ever week getting through 410km in about 16hours. I was just starging to feel prepared and then i got an e-mail from Threbo with
"Crisp mornings and cooler nights have arrived - this weekend we could see the first snowfall of the season - Stoked"
Stoked not so much! I had contemplated that it might be cooler on the mountaing tops considering we are heading right up into this country riding in the snow that is forecast is well outside of what I had been expecting!
Looking forward to the ride and off to get some wet weather gear!
Help me support kids in need
Chain Reaction is the Ultimate Corporate Bike Challenge that raises money for children's charities including the starlight children's foundation and freedom wheels who both do amazing work with sick kids. I am riding a 1,000 plus kilometre course in 7 days with each day consisting of climbing one mountain. With betwen 110-170km a day I will be spending 6-7 hours of solid effort on the bike seat each day! Join me for a short training ride of 50km if you want a sense of how challenging this is ;-)
Please help me support kids in need. My training stats this week so far;

Thanks for your help!
P.S. for the cynical amongst us we are paying our own way on the trip and you aren't funding my cycling holiday ;-)
