Why your support means the world to me!
This year I want to make a contribution to the lives of sick kids and their families who are in need by setting myself the challenge of riding from Canberra to Melbourne in a week. These gruelling seven days will be shared with a group of people equally keen (and mad) about cycling and together we're going to take on some of Australia's toughest climbs in order to raise as much money as we can for two incredible charities, the Ronald McDonald House Charity and the AEIOU Foundation.
Both of these charities work tirelessly to support children. Firstly, in SEQ alone Ronald McDonald helped over 5,000 families with sick children last year, ensuring their families can stay close by while they bravely battle a range of challenging health conditions. As well as RMHC I'll also be supporting the AEIOU foundation which provides early intervention services to children with Autism. These interventions have a dramatic effect on the development of kids with Autism making their work incredibly important to their long term quality of life.
If you can spare anything at all to support me on this journey and help me to raise as much cash as I can I would be massively grateful and you can rest easy knowing it's going to a great cause.
Many, many thanks in advance!
