Help me support kids in need

Chain Reaction raises money for children's charities by challenging corporate riders to punch out 1,000 kilometres over 7 days.

The Tassie ride in March 2020 had to be abandoned due to You Know What. But on 24-30 April 2021, 60 riders will set out from Coffs Harbour through the NSW hilly hinterland back to Sydney, aiming to raise $600,000 for the following 3 charities:

1. Starlight Children's Foundation

2. BaptistCare Hope Street (supporting the disadvantaged, especially women & children escaping domestic violence, from centres in Darlinghurst & St Marys)

3. So They Can (child education in East Africa)

Please support my efforts on the bike with a tax-deductible donation and be part of changing the lives of kids in need!

My Updates

Peaking Early?

Training started before Christmas with twice-weekly 4.30 alarm calls for up to 3 hour 70km rides before work. Distance has been building on the weekend too, with 250km total ridden per week (about 10 hours riding).
A significant milestone was riding 235 kilometres on one day on 7th March in just under 11 hours up and over Mount Hotham and Falls Creek in Victoria in the Peaks Challenge. Here I am nearing the top of Hotham (1,840m), Australia's highest point accessible by sealed public road! Stunning views all around with benign weather on the day.
