Please Help Me Help Others
Chain Reaction began for me in the most personal way — after a health challenge with my first daughter, Milla, in 2006. That experience stays with me, and it’s the reason I’m still so committed to what Chain Reaction stands for: community, grit, and purpose — showing up for children and families when life gets hard.
This will be my 13th Chain Reaction ride. My last full ride was in 2018, so I’ve been training hard to make sure my (slightly) ageing body can cope with what’s ahead — a challenging 1,000km course with 15,000m of climbing. Along the way, I’ve genuinely loved the camaraderie of training with like-minded, passionate people — a huge added bonus of Chain Reaction.
There are so many benefits to being part of Chain Reaction: you become physically and mentally fitter, you build incredible connections, you gain a strong support base, and you share a real sense of purpose in giving back to the community.
This year I’m raising much-needed funds for our charity partners Monash Children’s Hospital and The Starlight Children’s Foundation — two extraordinary organisations providing vital care, support and brighter moments when families need it most. If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every contribution makes a real difference.
