Help me support kids in need
In my 4th year fundraising with Chain Reaction, the 45-strong team will cycle up the equivalent of 10 Mount Hothams (12,800m vertical) and cover nearly 1000km in a NZ loop from Christchurch on 26th February to Queenstown on 4th March 2023, with the goal of raising $1,000,000 including corporate donations. Four months of training, typically 15 hours weekly, and multiple 4.30am wakeups to ride before work have been getting us desk jockeys ready for the physical demands of the challenge.I have separately paid for my ride and travel costs, so donation proceeds go to benefit kids in the following 3 charities:
1. So They Can who provide education and community development in East Africa
2. Baptistcare HopeStreet provide accommodation and food to homeless or families escaping domestic violence in a dozen NSW locations
3. Bridging The Gap provide scholarships to Indigenous kids across Australia to complete Year 12 and also provide employment pathways.
