after setting my alarm an hour too late I had a lonely pedalup the back of mount Glorious to try and catch the train. It was another balmy summers day with high temps and crazy humidity
tough roll in the later stages as it went from hot to beyond
all in all solid 130 km in tough conditions
Ramping up the Training
This weekend the Northside Chain Reaction crew was a big one. On Friday we completed a 133km in super hot conditions and Sunday a lazy 152km including 1564m of elevation. This was separated by a lazy 19km run on Saturday including stairs. Needless to say Mondays rest day walking the dog was well received by very over tired legs
I am participating in the 2018 Chain Reaction Challenge Queensland to raise much needed funds for two great charities: AEIOU Foundation for Children With Autism and Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland. Please contribute to my efforts to cycle 1000km in 7 days to support kids in need.
